Next Thursday, April 13th, Oglethorpe Fresh (111 South Platt St., Lexington) will be hosting a Business After Hours, sponsored by the Oglethorpe County Chamber of Commerce. The occasion allows local residents to learn more about the business and its services while also networking with others in the community. During the event next week, those attending will be encouraged to visit the newest endeavor of Oglethorpe Fresh and others in the county. A community garden has been started near Shaking Rock Park in what is being called Shaking Rock Corner.
The Business After Hours event next week at Oglethorpe Fresh will take place from 5:30-7 p.m. Among other things, the business offers music lessons and musical performances and a potluck meal every other Friday until the summer. One of the music teachers, Adam Poulin, will be present to play during the Business After Hours. He is a classically trained guitarist and violinist, and some of his students may perform with him as well.
Oglethorpe Fresh is located in downtown Lexington at 111 South Platt Street in the old Shackelford Building. The co-op is open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
